It's offical, I'm totally shipping #carlton

Yeah, you've might have heard about a youtube phenomenon called The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, if you are one of the few that haven't go fix it, right now. I mean NOW! Do it! ;) Then came the new series, Welcome to Sanditon with Gigi Darcy for Pemberley Digital. And now, here's Emma Approved. Yeah, you need to check it out. LDB and Emma collides as Caroline Lee turns up as Mrs Elton-to-be. So the #carlton - ship was a go. Yeah, I'm not a fan of Elton or Caro, but hey, when Drunk Austen calls out for a shipping vid, who am I to say no? :P So here's a few fans, shipping a way, inspired by Fresh Prince's Carlton.

Rain makes me creative

I've been busying myself with The Paradise again. Since we've got a new laptop I needed to cut into the eppies again since I've got an idea for a fanvid. And editing makes me rewatch the series and is perfect for finding those special moments and snippets. Just before I watched this rather heartbreaking scene between Mr Moray and Katherine when he speaks of what he longs for in episode 6. So I just had to make something with it...

I was going to make a wallpaper, but ended up with this instead. I'm quite pleased.

Season 6 Promo

On a different note I'm a bit hesitant as what to do with this blog. My dedication is a bit off at the moment. I'm currently writing in my usual, Swedish blog more frequently and also in English when I see fit, but I still think I need this outlet too. For the more obsessive stuff. Okay? Okay. I'm gonna try to be more active, make some wallpapers and what nots. Perhaps a fanvideo or two...

I finally managed to finish the fanvideo I was talking about before. :) A bit fed up with Windows Live Movie maker now, because it keeps crashing or working incorrectly, otherwise a very nice and handy little editing program. The Paradise Fandom...

Yes, it's been a while, and I'm not really back in this blog yet (check out my regular one instead, I have started to write in English on occasion...). But I need to get this out of my system... I'm totally in love with Mr Moray of the BBC series The Paradise. I've been working on a fanvid for the series, and I took this beautiful still from one of the eppies, can't remember which at the moment. But I think this really suits one of the quotes from a later episode.

I just love his smile... It makes me all giggly and fluttery... ;) I will be back with a fanvid when I'm finished.

The Vampire Diaries s 3

So, last season, Stefan went "rouge" in order to save his brother. And Klaus has him bloodthirstier than ever. And I must say I'm actually liking this darker, more brooding Stefan than the goodie two shoes from previous seasons. I have always been partial to him over Damon even if I'm very fond of Ian Somerhalder. Damon has always been too bad for me.

I've recently started to read through the books by L.J Smith of which the tv-series is based on, hoping it would be as epic as Twilight or The Southern Vampire mysteries. You know that the books are so much better than the series. But so far I'm not that impressed. Perhaps if I had read it before I watched it, but I really do think the tv-series is better so far. I've just started book two, The Struggle, and I guess it's getting better. I knew from the start that it would be very different from the tv-series and I was able to see them as two separate things, and therefore enjoy it more, I think.

I'm just surprise just how much they have changed, I guess to get better tv. I mean Jeremy is 4 year old Margaret, Caroline and Elena aren't even friends, Elena is blonde and where has Meredith gone?

But, all and all, when considering the tv-series and the books as two totally different things, that might in some ways be similar, I think the books are pretty good. :) But I still like the tv-series better and am looking forward to see the rest of this season. Can't wait to see if Stefan will chose Elena again and be "good" or if Elena actually realises that Damon is quite the catch after all... :P

True Blood, again

I must confess, this season I'm eagerly awaiting every episode! And finally, last week the kiss happened. YES! And what a kiss it was. Totally sent me all aflutter and goofy smiling. Sookie and Eric's romance makes the stuff they have changed from the book worth it. Totally. Yep, go Eric and Sookie!

I feel the need of saying something on the subject now that I've seen the first episodes. I'm still not finding the tv-series as brilliant as the novels behind it, but now that I'm treating the show as something completely different, I enjoy it more. That Alexander Skarsgård is playing Eric only makes it easier.

What I like so far, is Eric. :P Haha, surprise surprise. I do hope they follow the book pretty good, because it was one of my favourites. (Just realised that stopped reviewing after book three. Oh, that's ok I'm planning on re-reading them soon.) I love Eric when he's lost who he is. He is such a darling little lost boy. And yeah, I really enjoy him and Sookie together. I'm still on the fence of them letting Lafayette live, but he is kind of fun, and I guess they have incorporated him pretty well in the events with the witches and all.

The fairy aspect is kind of confusing, and so different from the books that I'm not even going to discuss it. And the thing with Hotshot and Jason, well... yeah. No comment.

Oh, and did you notice who had written the book Sookie was reading in the end of the last episode? Nice homage to Charlaine Harris, I thought. :P
